Working with booking agents
If you have a booking agent, you can link them to your band so they can act on your behalf — sending applications, replying to offers, even running messages. They never see your password and you control exactly what they can do.
How linking works
Linking is a two-step, verified handshake — either side can start it, but the other has to confirm before anything is active. This prevents random people from claiming your band.
- One side requests the link (band → agent, or agent → band).
- The other side gets an email and a notification.
- That side either confirms (link goes active) or declines.
- Either side can revoke at any time; both parties get an email.
Inviting a booking agent
- From your band dashboard, click Booking agents (or go to
/band-dashboard/managers). - Use the search box to find your booking agent by name.
- Select them — this sends a pending request and emails them to confirm.
- Once they confirm, the link is active and they show up in your Verified booking agents list.
Granting permissions
By default a verified booking agent can only view your band's data. Nothing else. You decide which actions they can perform by clicking Permissions next to their name and toggling scopes:
edit_profile— update your band profile, photos, linksmanage_applications— apply to venues on your behalfmanage_offers— accept/decline/counter offersmanage_bookings— confirm or cancel bookingsmanage_messages— send messages to venuesmanage_stage_plots— create and edit your stage plotsmanage_past_shows— log past showsview_finance— see slot costs & payout info (sensitive)
You can change these at any time — changes take effect immediately for the agent.
Removing a booking agent
Click Remove next to their name in /band-dashboard/managers. They lose access immediately and receive an email.
What if my agent is already on Hedliner as a booking agent?
They may have requested you first — check the Pending requests area at the top of /band-dashboard/managers. Click Confirm to verify, or Decline if you don't recognize them.
