Getting started as a band
This takes about 10 minutes. By the end you'll have a public band profile and be ready to apply to venue slots.
1. Create an account
- Go to /register and sign up with your email and password.
- Choose Band / artist as your role.
- Verify your email if prompted.
2. Fill out your band profile
After signup you'll land in onboarding. The minimum required fields are name, city/state, and at least one genre tag. Everything else can be added later from /band-dashboard/profile.
Profiles start as private (draft). Until you publish, venues can't find you in search and your applications won't go through. Click Publish from the band dashboard when you're ready.
3. Add a press kit
Add a press kit URL, photos, sample tracks, and social links from /band-dashboard/profile. Venues consider this when reviewing your applications, so the more complete it is the better.
4. (Optional) Add a stage plot
Stage plots let you tell a venue exactly how your band is set up so sound engineers can prep. Create one from /band-dashboard/stage-plots. You can attach a stage plot to an application or share a public link.
5. Find a venue and apply
Head to /band-dashboard/browse to see open slots near you. See Applying to venues for the full flow.
